Welcome to UniQ Prep. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our educational services, website, and programs. By enrolling in our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, enrolling in any of our programs, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services. If you are enrolling a minor, you as the parent or legal guardian agree to these Terms on behalf of your child.

2. Services Description

UniQ Prep provides educational test preparation, tutoring, college admissions counseling, and mentorship services for students. Our offerings include but are not limited to SAT/ACT preparation, subject-specific tutoring, college application guidance, essay review, interview preparation, and peer mentorship programs. Services may be delivered in-person at our Edison, NJ location or virtually, depending on the program.

3. Registration and Enrollment

To enroll in UniQ Prep programs, students or their parents/guardians must complete the registration process, which may include providing personal information, academic details, and payment. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the enrollment process and consent to these Terms on their behalf. UniQ Prep reserves the right to decline enrollment at its discretion.

4. Payment Terms

All fees are due at the time of enrollment unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing. Payments may be made via credit card, debit card, or other accepted methods. Prorated refunds may be issued for program withdrawals when at least two weeks’ written notice is provided prior to the withdrawal date. No refunds will be given for missed classes or sessions. UniQ Prep reserves the right to adjust pricing for future enrollment periods. Any outstanding balances must be settled before continued enrollment in additional programs.

5. Scheduling and Attendance

Class and session schedules are provided at the time of enrollment. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. If a student must miss a session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Makeup sessions may be available at UniQ Prep’s discretion, subject to instructor availability. UniQ Prep reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify class schedules due to instructor unavailability, insufficient enrollment, weather, or other circumstances. In such cases, students will be notified promptly and offered alternative arrangements or a prorated credit.

6. Code of Conduct

All students, parents, and mentors are expected to behave respectfully and professionally. Harassment, bullying, cheating, disruptive behavior, or any conduct that interferes with the learning environment will not be tolerated. UniQ Prep reserves the right to dismiss any participant from a program without refund for violations of this Code of Conduct. Dismissed participants will be notified in writing of the reason for their dismissal.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, curricula, lesson plans, practice tests, handouts, and other educational content provided by UniQ Prep are the intellectual property of UniQ Prep and are protected by copyright law. Students and families may use these materials for personal educational purposes only. Reproduction, redistribution, sharing, or commercial use of any UniQ Prep materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

UniQ Prep strives to provide high-quality educational services, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes, including test score improvements, college admissions results, or academic performance. Our services are provided on an “as-is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UniQ Prep, its instructors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the student for the specific program or service in question.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you also agree to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications to Terms

UniQ Prep reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
